The Basic and Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory is one of the essential facilities of the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA UI.    • Used for conducting experiments involving hazardous chemicals or producing toxic gases. This equipment is designed to protect users from direct exposure to such chemicals.
2. pH Meter
   • An instrument used to measure the acidity or alkalinity (pH) of a solution with high precision.
3. UV-Vis Spectrophotometer (Spectronic 20, Korea)
   • This tool is utilized for the quantitative analysis of chemical compounds based on their absorption of ultraviolet and visible light. It is commonly used to determine the concentration of solutions.
4. FTIR (Alpha Bruker)
   • Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) is used for the qualitative analysis of chemical compounds by detecting functional groups within molecules. This instrument is crucial for molecular structure identification.
5. Electronic Balance
   • A basic laboratory tool used to measure the mass of substances with high accuracy.
